Verona seen from the river

Change of perspective.

To admire Verona from a different viewpoint, all you need is a life-jacket, a paddle and…the Adige Rafting’s yellow rafts – www.adigerafting.it.

We highly recommend this experience, especially in those seasons when the water flow is not too intense, so that you may:

Pass under the bridges, observe how the ancient civilizations skilfully built them and how our grandparents obstinately rebuilt them to look like the originals, after the air raids destroyed them at the end of World War II.

Imagine the River Adige as a large highway and retrace the path that ancient barges took since medieval times to carry goods and people.

Enjoy the sound of water and be gently carried by the current like the seagulls, letting the rapids surprise you in some stretches of the river.

In its 8.5 km span, winding from Chievo up to Boschetto, the river Adige runs through the city from north to south and encloses it in a double bend.

Veronalodge is very close to Ponte Navi and to Dogana Vecchia di fiume: it’s the ideal strategic point from which to discover Verona.
