Every year in April Verona becomes the world’s capital city of wine: since 1967 the international trade fair Vinitaly www.vinitaly.com/en/ has been held here, steadily growing and climbing to the top ranking position in the wine sector with 4600 exhibitors over 100.000 square meters of exhibiting surface and 130.000 visitors (among them buyers, restaurant managers, journalists, professional wine tasters and lovers).
